Use "Email Headers" to backtrack and find the original sender's IP address. Don't worry, it's not rocket science. Go here....
http://www.johnru.com/active-whois/trace-email.html and it will give you an easy to understand explanation of how to "read" the full headers as well as how to get full headers for different email clients. Yahoo, hotmail, Outlook and Outlook Express. Good Luck, and remember if you are having a problem with someone you have recourse by reporting the problem to the email client, yours and/or the senders.

You can't, unless it's in the email header. You can try looking in the email header, but odds are it will only show the IP address of the sending email server (the one the sender used).

From what I've heard getting an ip from even an email sent from Y/A is fairly easy. Try googling it, and be very careful who you email. And don't insult others.

yeah view the header, assuming you are using yahoo in the new java mode:

right click email
select "view full header"

it shows you the entire route of the email and the most info you'll get out of if you are not law enforcement.

In you email settings you can choose to display the full header, and it should be included there.
