Does constipation and trouble sleeping happen during menopause and pregnancy?

I can answer only part of your question. I've heard that constipation happens with pregnancy (but I don't know for sure). No one has ever said to me that constipation is a problem during menopause. I do know that if a person has lower back problems they may have problems with constipation. And I know if you eat too many heavy foods without also having lettuce or some good oil (like tunafish) in your system you could get constipation.
