There are a lot of songs out there from these eras and there are bound to be a lot of questions about them.

Indeed. And why isn't there a separate category for legitimate questions instead of "who thinks so&so sucks/rocks?" and "what song am I listening to right now?"
Answer: it makes too much sense...

I ask questions about 60's and 70's music. I'm into bands like The Who, The Beatles, The Kinks, The Animals, Queen, Rush, Yes and many others. The best music is the classic stuff in my opinion. The last really good band was The Police, but after that nothing great has come along.

Categorizing music is difficult. You have songs that can be multi-genre and that could lead to a bunch of subcategories.


ugh... I hate classifying music.

uhhh and to respond to the fellow above me... you don't need to be over 40 to know and appreciate older music.

I'm with you. I was wondering that myself. Not everyone on this site is under 40. Come on people, us oldies need our space too, don't cha think? We have alot to offer too.
