Okay I took an hpt about a week and a half ago and it was negative. But then I started having light spotting...pink/reddish brown in color (not even enough to have to wear a tampon). So of course I assumed it was my period starting, but then after about 2-3 days of just light (barely there) spotting....it stopped and I haven't bled since. And now (for lack of better words) my nipples are really really sensitive, they constantly feel like icy hot has been rubbed on them...other than that my boobs aren't sore...just sensitive nipples. And I have been having minor cramping in my lower abdomen. My hubby and i have been trying to conceive for a while...do you think I am preggo?....N e one else had theses as pregnancy symptoms?

You could be. The bleeding could have been implantation bleeding, and you may have taken the HPT too early. I would try taking one again.

Spotting and sensitive breasts/nipples can definitely be a sign of pregnancy. How many home tests did you do? This time, make sure you do at least three. Also, go into your doctors for a test asap if you can. That is the most reliable way to find.
There are five steps the determine a pregnancy early:
1.A missed period- this is the most clear cut sign
2. Frequent trips to the bathroom- Even before missing a period many women have to pee constantly.
3. Fatigue- Being very tired is an early sign of pregnancy
4. Morning (and noon and night) sickness- Not necessarily vomitting, just random bouts of feeling nauseated are included in morning sickness.
5. Sore or bigger breasts- Very tender to the touch or getting bigger. Once the hormones in your body stabilize this will go away.

Good luck!!!

Could just be signs of your menstrual cycle, but you could also be pregnant. The spotting is your body getting rid of "old blood" that you wont be needing now that your pregnant (if you are.) Wait 2 weeks after your missed period and take a pregnancy test, testing too soon can result in an incorrect result. Don't work yourself up until you know forsure. Best of wishes

Could be preggos for sure.....go get another test. The first test may have been too early. The whole soreness in the boobs though is a good indicator. Go get a blood test if you want to know for sure.

Congrats!!! You're pregnant go take another test to make sure. The spotting was your uterus shedding some of the old blood, that what I was told, Sore boobs were always a sign that I was pregnant and the cramping

I had those exact symptoms with my first. Try taking a test again, I bet you'll get some good news.

it's always a possibiliy, you should go to a doctor and have him/her give you a pregnancy test, if it's negative then tell the doctor the symptoms you are having including your period or lack thereof, and maybe he can diagnose it right away.
