You can buy an adapter[ these adpters are for filling at smaller pump stations that only have a POL fill valves] but the problem is that a forklift cylinder supplies liquid at the valve and not gas and unless you have a way to vaporize the liquid to gas you will create a very dangerous problem for your self. And someone fed Sensible a line when they told him motor fuel Propane is lower quality,it all comes from the same tank to fill motor fuel and all other tanks.And.there must have been something in the system that wasn't set up correctly if they didn't work well with the heating equipment

I am sure the adapter is available at anyplace that sells propane bulk. Not saying you are going to "borrow" tanks from work but, I worked in a plant and we started using some propane heaters in a new construction area. We just used the forklift cylinders. Didn't work worth a darn. Asked the supplier and he said the propane for forklifts was not the same quality as for grills and heaters and did not burn as hot.

You can get adapters at any u-haul rentle place. I have seen them at Lowes and Home Depo.

yes you can go to a propane dealer and or at lowes hardware and get the adapter.
