This is 2nd Round Draft! I want to know who would you cast for the movie X-Men. The rules are simple. You can choose anybody for the main roles except who was originally cast in the movie. In other words, you choose who plays Storm if Halle Berry is not available. If you don't know the main cast then go to the movie website or imdb.com or anything else that can give you cast info. This question is for the first X-Men movie and not the sequels. If you want to give an explantion for your choices, that's cool too. Try not to go too crazy with your choices, I want some good well thought answers. Feel free to get your friends and family involved. My sister and I play this quite well with movies we've watched so I hope you enjoy this as much we have. Now, put on your thinking caps and have fun.

I would leave Hugh Jackman as Wolverine because honestly I can't pucture anyone else in the role now. But I would make Angela Bassett Storm; she was who they wanted to play the role originally and she would have done a better job with it anyway. I would make Julianne Moore or Nicole Kidman Jean, because I think Famke Janssen sucked in the role. They need someone who can really act to protray the characters massive mood swings and changes. I would cast Natalie Portman as Rogue (no offense to Anna Paquin, who is okay in the part), I think she would have great chemistry with Hugh and would visually make a great Rogue. Cyclops should be played by someone who could make you believe that Jean would actually choose him over Wolverine (which Jason Marsden does not), and doesn't make him seem like such a bore. Maybe Eric Dane (from Grey's Anatomy, who coincidentally played the guy who could replicate himself in X-Men 3). He can play a good guy with edge well. (And he's VERY sexy, which would totally make Jean's choice hard to make). You were right - that was a lot of fun!

If we were doing a new casting I would do Jada Pinkett Smith or Vivica A. Fox or Gina Torres or Kerri Washington as Storm
Kitty Pride would have been Camille Belle or Amanda Seyfried for all of the movie
Ryan Phillipe, Peter Sarsgard or Thomas Jane as Cyclops

Hmm, I guess I would have to go with, perhaps, some of the actors/actresses that turned down the roles. Yep, some of the stars in the film, weren't the film-makers original choices. ;-)

Storm- Aaliyah beautiful and small with alot of power
Wolverine-Keanu Reeves very athletic and fierce
Professor Xavier- James Earl Jones a natural leader
Magneto-Flavor Flav so much jewelry looks magnified
Jean Gray-Eva looks smart and intelligent
Cyclops-Will Smith looks cool in shades
