i seen the comercial too they were eating pop tarts...

ok well here it goes... the mytholigial vampire seen in the comercial is dead and the mermaid is imortal. so i think it will cancel eachother out or make the mermail mortal. the vampire bite slowly changes the body of a human and when the transformation is complete stops the heart and the hu8man is dean but when the vampire bits the mermaid who is immortal its "venom" cannot stop the heart and make it dead. so i think it would just be alot of pain for the mermaid and an endless suppy of blood for the vampire.

I don't think I've ever heard of a vampiric mermaid before, but it should be possible. there is nothing in mermaid mythology that would suggest an immunity to vampirism.

oh, also, vampirisim is a sort of overlay, so all the rules that applied to normal vampires would probably apply to a vampiric mermaid, which could cause problems. though it is an oft overlooked aspect of vampirism in the modern sense, traditional vampires were unable to cross or enter into running water. usually the running water involved is a stream of some sort, but i do remember that in some older tales vampires had to be in their coffins during over seas voyages as well. im not sure how this would effect a vampiric mermaid, but im sure it wouldnt be pleasant. maybe shed die if she tried to go back into the water? im not sure. but if that certain rule is disregarded as it is in more modern vampire tales, i dont think that there would be a problem

The one thing the two share is Vampiness, meaning that both Mermaids and Mermen and Vampires share is that in many tales humans have created, both species are extremely attractive to humans and both embrace an advanced sensuality.

I haven't seen that ad, but I do know that The Mers are Vegans - as fish, they eat sea plants and are known to be very interested in saving our Planet, Sea!
