Who will win? Who cares? The only reason I can't say that this show should evaporate forever (and take all associated with it) is the lingering fear that its replacement will be even more insipid.
For someone who doesn't watch, hearing people talk about American Idol (or any other "reality" TV show) is akin to hearing Scientology or Mormonism explained. It invariably results in knotted brows and very slowly moving away.

I think melinda didn't make it to the final is because her singing it not all that wonderful, & her looks are not someone we would want on a C.D cover, I like Jordin from the start & she will win tonight, that show is all set up anyhow & clive davis already picked jordin

I hope Jordin because her voice is clearly superior to Blake's! While Melinda has a great voice, she was a bit frumpy at the start of the show and didn't really project a confident image all the time.

Melinda didn't win because she doesn't fit the typical American standard of beauty. If it was by talent alone, she would have won hands down.

Melinda did not make it because America Idol is a set up.It has been for a few years, I think.

JORDIN WILL WIN melinda didnt make it because of hiccup boy Blake.American idol has went to he ll or maybe they just get a much much much younger stupid immature audience now (ie sanjayas crying fan)WHO KNOWS! all i know is that blake stinks and jordin rocks!

The best singer is gone and no matter which of the two that are left their record sales are not going to be any match to Melinda's when she does get a contract...The actual winners on that show never make it as big as the people that get voted off...just ask Chris Daughtry and Taylor Hicks...You see which one of those two got the most record sales...

Jordin will win, but Blake will become a bigger star. Melinda didn't make it because, despite her amazing singing talent, she does not have any real star power. Her stage presence wasn't what Blake's is. When Blake is on stage, I can't take my eyes off him. She will make a fantastic recording artist, but she will never be the performer that Blake is.

I'm so upset Melinda didn't make it to the finals!!! It's not fair, that girl CAN sing. For now, I think Jordan should win...GO JORDAN. GOOD LUCK!

I hope that Jordin wins. Blake has a nice voice, but I find his beatboxing annoying. I guess its not my cup of tea.
I know that Blake will probably win....pre teen hormonal girls will vote for him. Not as many guys watch Idol anyway....
I thnik Idol's credibility is ruined anyway...thanks to the whole vote for the worst thing....whatever.
