What's the most embarrassing or silly thing you've done to save money?

I don't know how silly any of this is. The most embarrassing thing was having to ask my uncle for a loan. (He made me feel like crap, but still lent me the money.) I also learned how to make my own tortillas and bread to save grocery money. I bummed rides off neighbors for 2 years to get to work. Now that's embarrassing when you're calling around begging for a ride.

i dunno but my aunt puts plastic straws in the dishwasher to reuse
