Get your marriage license and go to the DMV. Use that to change your driver's license. Then go to the Social Security place and have your last name changed there using the marriage license and driver's license. Then using the both documentation, go to where your banking is done and to your job and do the same thing. This is also the process with all the other billing companies as well. Congratulations!!

You can go to court, or else you can just start using your new name and it will become official after 7 years ... but sometimes an official name-change is helpful. Most credit cards and government offices (Social Security for example) have name-change forms.

As on your marriage certificates you may desire to get that for the duration of the mail in i might say decrease than 2 weeks. i'm hoping that this enables you in any way what so ever.

Usually you would go to the local courthouse and request a name change after you have provided the with a valid marriage certificate. For it to be valid, you have to register it with the courts first.

You take your marriage license to the driver's bureau, and send a copy to Social Security to get your name changed there, too.
