i worked at a movie theater. I know sounds lame, but it was fun. You snacked on popcorn all day for free, saw movies for free and when you were generally only BUSY for 2-3 hours out of an 8 hour shift. It was the best job ever. Only downside was they were open 365 days a year. But once you had some seniority, time off wasn't a problem.

The job that I have now. I work with mentally handicapped people. I am going to be taking care of a little boy over the summer while he is out of school. He has cerebral palsy. He can't walk, and doesn't speak. I can't wait. You take things for granted when you are able to do them. To see his eyes light up when he is happy is heartfelt in a way that you can only imagine.

It is the job I have now, and have had for the past 15 years or so. I am a financial planner. I take immense pleasure in helping shape peoples financial futures. The satisfaction quotient is amazing. I feel blessed that I work in a profession where I actually enjoy coming into work every day!

STATE Jobs!!! I've had a lot too.
Statistical Researcher
Data Entry Clerk
Administrative Assistant
Just working for the state is great. The pay sucks but you get great benefits and you have a lot of freedom in how you do things and the bosses are usually laxed and really cool.

The one I am doing now and have done for the last 20 years. I assist veterans with getting their VA benefits from the Veterans Administration. I started this job out of high school and I absolutely love it. The war stories I have heard over the past 20 years, amazing.

My current job.
I work as an IT administrator for a National communications company. It's a corporate gig with a lot of really great perks, benefits, and co-workers. They have sent me all over the US, and I get to do what I enjoy doing, problem solving computer issues.

Running a coffee shop (not a chain). When it was slow, I basically got paid to hang out with friends and drink coffee. when it was busy, I made a ton in tips in addition to my weekly salary. I loved that job!
