So I'm a virgin but ever since my period started I've never missed a cycle - I mean I've even had some extra when I've been really stressed (sucks I know!) But it's been almost two weeks - I was thinking about taking a home pregnancy test but I don't even know where to find them in the grocery store! And I want to know if my period is just going to be really really late then will that through off the reading at all?

First of all, I need to clear something up. Everyone has been using the term 'immaculate conception' incorrectly. Immaculate Conception reffers to the time when Mary was conceived. God pardoned her from original sin, so she was then born without sin. I know this because I had to study it when I used to teach sunday school. Anyway, what do you consider being a 'virgin'. If a male's penis has entered your vagina and any sort of fluid came out while he was aroused, then there would be a slight chance you could be pregnant. If this has not happened, then you are not pregnant! Go to the doctor and discuss your problem. If you have had sexual contact with a male and are afraid to tell everyone, you can tell the dr. and he/she has to keep it between you two and won't tell your parents or anyone else.

If you are still a virgin why would you think that you are pregnant? You wouldn't find a pregnancy test at the grocery store you would find it at the drug store. If you are still a virgin it might be the season's changing or stress or your cycle could be readjusting (changing times when it comes, ie. if it comes around the 15th it could be changing to come around the 25th) this happens to me when the seasons change. But I have never been two weeks late maybe a week.

if you've never had sex, or have not been inseminated, there is no chance you are pregnant. the only way you can get pregnant is if a sperm meets with your egg. it's very common to have miss a period when you are so young. some people go through their whole lives having irregular periods all the time. for example, myself. i wouldn't have a period for sometimes years. but i'm more of an extreme case. it's very normal to have missed periods, but it's also good that you keep track of your cycles, so you will be able to help yourself understand your body later on in life. stress can cause you to miss a period too. i would say that you are 100% not pregnant. congrats! study hard, go to college!! i'm sure it's nothing.

Unless you have had some type of sexual contact with a guy, you are not pregnant. It is common for young girls to miss a cycle now and then. When I was 14, I went for 4 months without a period. I still had the symptoms, just no flow. If you are athletic, it's more common to miss cycles due to extreme exercise and activity. If it happens continually, and you still are a virgin, see your doctor.

Delayed periods could be due to stress or bad diet or perhaps an Illness. But even if you are a virgin.. have you been 'fooling around'. Maybe your boyfriend didnt get to 'home base' but if he came close then on rare occasions it can happen. If there is no guy in the picture, and there is no scenario like this that has happened then you are not pregnant! But go to a doctor to be safe that its not something bad, like cysts. I dont want to scare you because you might just be late. But just go to a doctor to be sure. Ask for a female doctor if you want!

Good luck.

Now days, when someone says, "I'm a virgin," ya have to ask what that means to them. If you've had sexual contact (i.e. dry humping, fingering, or any other sort of contact) you have to ask yourself if there was a possibility that any seminal fluids came near your vagina. Sometimes, girls consider themselves a virgin if the guy only stuck it in a little, or it was only for a couple seconds. Again, if there were any seminal fluids, or the penis came into contact with your vaginal area, there is a possiblity of pregnancy. If you can safely answer "no" to all of these, you aren't pregnant. You may need to see the doctor if you period doesn't show up within the next couple of weeks. Best of luck.

No need to worry. Cycles change for a variety of reasons. Mine changes with the moon cycle or if I start hanging around a new girlfriend. Stress will also cause your cycle to change. Watch for the signs and relax. Keep a colander of when you start. It will let you see a pattern 6 months down the road of how many days your cycle tends to be. You don't need a pregnancy test if you're not sexually active. Go read about how reproduction works so you are totally informed. Good luck :)

If you are a virgin you don't need a pregnancy test. You cannot get pregnant unless sperm unite with an ovum. It's normal to be like this at times. A lot of things like stress, medication, change in diets, etc. to influence your cycle. So unless you have done something that put those little swimmers inside your body, you don't have to worry about a baby right now.

if you are still a virgin then taking a test is only going to be negitive you don't need a test it's more than likely stress and even though you got your period before when you were stressed this time your body could be handling it differently but you don't need to waste your money on a home test if you are really a virgin cause that's all your doing is wasting your money

Elevated body temperature, tender breasts, darker areolas, nausea and vomiting, constipation, fatigue, light spotting/implantation bleeding, frequent urination, cramps, and bloating of the abdomen. A lot of these symptoms are the same as your period though. So really the best way to tell is missing a period, or get an early pregnancy test. Good luck!
