Yes. After I came home from Afghanistan and left the military, my life spun out of control. I lost everything so fast. To try and regain some good in my life, I started volunteering. Met this amazing girl. We became friends rather quick. As life kept going, things were getting really bad and I lost the job I managed to beg my way into after the forces. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression, no money and a job search going very badly made things really bad. Christmas came around and I had no one to spend it with and no money for anything. The rent was due in a few days and I couldn't even afford to eat. I was very close to killing myself. That sweet girl called me up just to chat. I think she knew. She saved my life. I'm marrying her pretty soon. I've finally got my life back on track and she's a huge part of it.

Yes I have felt suicidal a few times in my young life.

I talked to an individual once who was very learned in the mental health profession and he told me that there was never a person at least once in their lives that did not contemplate suicide . But it takes grit and a little faith and put your pants on and live another day and be positive in yourself that every day is what you make it and do it the best you can.

i use to when i was in a relationship a couple years back.. but i havnt been in a few years because i have had a couple friends die from suicide and i learned how much it affects your friends and family
