Can you give more details?

Stop arguing with her...a person can't argue by themselves. Maybe your wife wants to vent but doesn't know how to without baiting you in an argument. If she is already mad about something, let her have her spat. When she calms down and realize your not arguing back. Talk to her in the calmest nicest voice. Tell her you know she is angry but arguing doesn't solve the problem. Sit down and see if a solution can be reached. If not and the problem still persist, suggest marriage or individual counseling.

Well, agruments usually bring people closer to each other especially when they get through it together. There's nothing wrong with agruing, we all pick our fights. Listen to what she has to say. The both of you need to compromise.

See a counselor and find out why?

What? What do you argue about? Serious stuff or stupid stuff? If it's stupid stuff then learn to pick your battles. If it's serious stuff then see a counselor.
