1: Square both sides: x = 10^2 = 100
2: sqr[x] = 3+1 = 4
x = 4^2 = 16
3: 4sqr[x] = 13 +7 = 20
sqr[x] = 20/4 = 5
x = 5^2 = 25
4: sqr[3x] = 9
3x = 9^2 = 81
x = 81/3 = 27
5: sqr[8x] = 7-3 = 4
8x = 4^2 = 16
x = 16/8 = 2
6: x = 2^2 = 4

1. 100 since 10 x 10 = 100
2. 16 since 4 x 4 = 16 and 4 - 1 = 3
3. 25 since 13 + 7 = 20, and 20 / 4 = 5, and 5 x 5 = 25
4. 24 since 9 x 9 = 81, and 81 / 3 = 24
5. 2 since 7 - 3 = 4, and 4 x 4 = 16, and 16 / 8 = 2
6. 4 since 2 x 2 = 4

1) 10 = sqrt(x)
10^2 =x
100=x

2) √x-1=3
√x=4
x=16

3) 4√x-7=13
4√x=20
x=20^4
x=160,000

unless it is 4x√x then x=25

4) √3x=9
3x=81
x=27

5) √8x+3=7
√8x=4
8x=16
x=2

6) √x=2
x=4

unless there are meant to be brackets then

2) x=10

3) x=28568
unless it is 4x sqrt x-7 then it is
x=2711

5) x=5.75

i am assuming you need to find x?
1: √x=10
square both sides to get x = 100

2:√x-1=3
move 1 to the other side and square
√x = 4 so x = 16

3: 4√x-7=13
4√x = 20
√x = 5 so x = 25

4:√3x=9
3x = 81
x = 27

5: √8x+3=7
√8x = 4
8x = 16
x = 2

6:√x=2
x = 4

good luck

All of these assume that when you write √x-1=3 you mean √(x-1), not (√x) - 1

1. x = 100

2. x-1 = 9
x = 10

3. x-7 = 169/16 = 10-9/16
x = 17-9/16

4. x = 27

5. 8x +3 = 49
8x = 45
x = 45/8

6. x = 4

you need to try to get the radical on one side of the equal sign by itself, and then all you have to do is square both sides of the equal sign,

1) x = 100

2) x = 16

3) x = 25

4) x = 27

5) x = 2

6) x = 4
