It all depends on the person some younger men can possess a maturity that is far beyond their age and some older guys could be extremely immature. Age is nothing but a number as long as the person is over 21 I would say. If the attraction is there and both sides is willing and mature enough go ahead.

When I was 34 I was dating a 25 year old...we lasted 1 year.
Then I married a guy 7 years younger and it lasted 17 years.
I still date younger men...because what the heck...we are all old enough to know what we want...Guys my age are way to old for me.... I don't look or feel 55.
I can't drive 55.

23-45 would be ok. Now, if you're thinking commitment, remember that a woman's life expectancy is a little longer, so if you marry an older man it is likely that you will be widowed, but a younger man would possibly outlive you. I married a guy 9 years younger. I was 32 he was 23. That was 9 years ago today. Also, keep in mind his appearance. If you LOOK older than him, you might not mind now, but you likely will in 20 years. My husband balded early, making him look a little older. Nobody guesses that he is the younger one in our marriage.

If you are finding people who can share same topic with you same age to 7 years older shall do.
If you like to take care of people, 2 years younger to 2 years older is ok.
If you are asking for love, then any age is just fine.
