Rainbows are formed when light (any color) is refracted through a droplet of water (A prism), each color is a different wavelength, with blue being the shortest and red being the longest.
When aforementioned light refracts through the droplet of water or droplets of water, it creates the many different wavelengths that make up the spectrum. And since pink is a combination color (I believe red and brown make pink), it would be improbable for rainbows to be just one color.

Rainbow colours reflect the seven colours that make out white light. When the light pass through a prism like environment, it is bent to break up the seven colours fpr them to be seen individually.

Interestingly, all rainbows have the same rate of curvature.
They may look different - wich is caused by the angle of the sun relative to the falling raindrops, but if it was possible to se the whole circle of all rainbows, then they would all be the same size (but not all pink!)

The light that we see (white light) is made up of several other colours of light, those being red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. These are only visible when white light passes through droplets of moisture, where the colours are refracted and split into the seven components. Other things that can be used to do this is a glass prism.

When light hits the water droplets it gets smashed and decides to split. Each colour going its own way.
