It does make sense that Mexico should fix the problem.. but you forget.. Mexico is the problem. Why do you think illegals want to come here... it is so awful in Mexico.

Besides, the Mexican government is helping the illegals get here.. why not? less drain on their corrupt economy.

In a perfect real world solution, yes. I think Mexico wants this to happen, the illegals and a lot of legal Mexicans send tons of money back home to be put into the Mexican economy! I'm sure there are many more reasons other than that!

confident, Mexico does might desire to stop helping those pass the border. yet you may desire to declare that deportation will propose a lot much less money being despatched lower back to Mexico, and on the different hand, perhaps purely perhaps it will make all those despatched lower back, band togather and combat. we'd desire to submit to in recommendations that amnesty in no way has labored, and so some distance as criminals, the place can we draw the line ? maximum have broken the regulation extra advantageous than purely one time, the 1st through being right here illegally, yet then they in mosy situations went one to apply pretend or stolen IDs, and SS enjoying cards. So for all of you saying, provide them amnesty, the place can we draw the line ?

Mexico is what we commonly call a "third world country". That means that they probably do not have the manpower or funds to do such a thing.

And like people point out, illegal immigrants send money back to Mexico which stimulates their economy.

So to answer your question, yes, it does make sense on our end.

Will they do it? No way in hell. It's not in their best interests to do so.

Mexico's a third world country. Do you really think they care, or that they want to stop the flow of American money into their country (via Mexicans working here and sending it home)? No, no they don't. There's no incentive for them to fix it.

I completely agree that the issues of illegals is both Mexico and America's problem.

We should build a huge military base along the whole border with Mexico and have them do the same, so we can shoot any Mexican who illegally crosses the border and they can shoot any American who illegally crosses the border.

No.

They've been as successful creating new jobs as we have.

It's not a problem to them - it's a solution to the unemployment and dissension among their poor and a boon to their economy to the extent those wages are returned to Mexico and spent there by their families.

As long as America has an open border, there is no incentive for Mexico to change. We act as a safety valve.

Mexico's government is corrupt and they could care less if their people come here! They probably like it because they send so much money back to Mexico!

No, it doesn't. Mexico should have no say in the government of our country. Decisions about how to handle this problem should NOT be left to a foreign country.
