Both strut towers have a large amount of rust and would need to be removed, and have new ones welded on.

Take the van to several body shops in your area and get estimates on the repairs---see if they can get used parts for it and guarantee the work. Without seeing the damage, I'm guessing 6-800.00 to remove struts, cut out the rusted metal, weld in new partial towers, paint.

Chrysler minivans are notorious for rotting out the strut towers, particularly on the drivers side. This is a body-shop type of repair although I did hear a rumor (and for all I know it is a rumor) that there might be a TSB or warranty extension for this problem through the manufacturer. It coudl be BS but Worth checking out at any rate.

Barring that, go to a few different body shops and get estimates. Heck, they can probably do this one over the phone since it is a problem most body shops will have dealt with before.

The strut towers are a very important part in functionality and safety and as you have found out very expensive to fix. I have never heard of a repair kit, but you can cut the towers from a vehicle that has good towers and weld them back in. Since no body shop wants to do it it becomes a DIY job and if you can't do it, then you have no choice except to drive it until it craters, or buy another vehicle. An alternative, also costly, if you can't do the work, would buy a complete vehicle and put your good running gear in it.
