I have two - one is a daisy on my toe and its in reference to a Girl scout song. I was a girl scout for forever. The second is a set of paw prints walking up my spine. Im an animal rights girl and vegetarian so this one meant alot to me. But when I was with my cousin when she was getting her drama masks tattooed on her arms (shes a theater major) some guy came in and wanted the logo from "Monster" energy drink tattooed on his ribs. So my question is - how much did you think about your tattoo before getting it? What is it and what does it mean?

Yeah. I have nothing against tattoos, and find many to be absolutely beautiful. However, if you ever get a tattoo, it should be meaningful to you. Don't get a unicorn just because you think they look cool, and never get names or pictures of meaningless things. He will probably regret those in a few years, but hey, his body really. I don't think there's really much you can do to be honest. Some things people just gotta learn on their own and learn it the hard way

I wanted a tattoo ever since I was 18 and I finally got one at 23. I thought about it long and hard, I didn’t want to regret it when I got older. It a tribal symbol with a heart in it. There’s no special meaning for it.

I put a LOT of thought into mine. I have the perfect one to print out, and I know exactly where it will be. I just have to find a good tattoo parlor now. I've been working on this for years. It'll be a penguin juggling balls, and it'll be on my lower back.

So much thought I haven't got mine yet. I've been working on it for over two years now. I can't find anyone who can draw what I have in my head. And I'm not settling for less than perfect.

My rules are to never get names or words and no Chinese symbols b/c you really don't what it means unless you know Chinese. But always get something that best represents you.
I am a Capricorn so I got the zodiac symbol and it is one simple tattoo on me. That's how I see it.

So much that I decided not to get one. I've seriously considered it a few times, but ultimately after thinking about it I decided against getting one.

I put a lot of thought into mine. They are pretty much forever. I have one. It's a full bodied Hawaiian Ku. There is a lot of things that a Ku represents, in particular a full bodied one, but to keep it short it is supposed to protect my family and bring prosperity to us.

I cant imagine getting a Monster logo, unless they were paying me big bucks. That seems a little irrational to me.

I put alot of thought, time & research into my tattoos. I had always admired tattoos all my life but did not get my first one until I was 35 yrs. old.I went with one Theme, I soul searched for what really gives me a piece of mind & completeness. I came up with the Sea..so, all of my tattoos have something to do with the sea. I have a complete underwater scene as a backpiece with King Triton rising out of the sea. I have a Lighthouse on my arm along with dolphin & marlin. from my knee to the ankle is a old time ship with sails. also have seahorses & mermaids. All of these were custom made. I did alot of research in Libraries, bookstores & artstores. It took years but it was worth it. I only have one tattoo artist that I work with that I trust completly, I am very happy with the results and will never regret getting any tattoo or to show any of them to anyone who asks.
