Does anyone have an opinion of Jackson State University in Jackson MS?

Any opinion would be greatly appreciated, or anything else you can tell me.

Howard, Rollins, Spellman and Morehouse are the better HBCUs. Most of the other HBCUs are not as good academically as these schools or other state universities. However, they do offer a unique learning experience and an environment that allows certain students to prosper.

My advice would be to visit Jackson State, one of the better HBCUs and a non-HBCU public university in your state and see where you feel most comfortable. Also think about which of those schools will prepare you for life after college.
