It was about out of date meat and fish they were selling on the deli counter. And lack of hygeine, most of it was caused by lack of staff and too much work to do and fear of getting in trouble for having too many disposals.
Tescos was worse than Sainsburys. But it was only two store that they went undercover in. I imagine different levels of the problem go on at other branches as well as other supermarkets.

Two BBC reporters went undercover as workers on the fresh meat, fish and chicken counters.
They filmed the lack of hygiene, not using the probe thermometers, just turning mouldy meat over and worst of all mincing the "off" meat.
It made me feel sick as I go to Tesco alot.
LOL Just did shopping at Marks and spencers this eve instead.

those are extra desirable than probable minimum salary jobs. How plenty you get relies upon on how previous you're; under 18s get £3.sixty 8 according to hour, 18-20 this is £4.ninety 8, 21 and over £6.19. Pay rises rely on the business enterprise, and the persons overall performance. each and every business enterprise will even have this is very own team reward regulations, e.g. instore decrease fee rates, bonuses, holidays and so on.

Not good practice, so be careful - apparantly on the price labels we see in the chiller, the back has a sell by date on for the staff and they were adding on days. Fish was being smelled to see if it was off rather than go by the sell by date!
Dont buy fish from either, especially prawns!

Poor food hygiene. i.e cooked meat being mixed with raw meat and minced and then sold to the public. Out of date meat being minced and sold to the public.
The undercover reporters said that this behaviour was entrenched and part of the culture of the stores.
Shop in Waitrose, say I!
