What do I have to do to get emancipated? I'm moving in with my boyfriend (future husband) and I'm moving into his apartment with him he has a great job and he makes enough money to pay all the bills. I would get a job if i needed to.

You need to get a paper from the court and one of your parents must sign it. Then you are seen by a judge. Trust me I know this for sure.

It appears as though the age of 16 is the threshold for emancipation in the state of FL. I would not recommend you do that, though. Why don't you stay with your parents, finish your education (and that means college, too) and then you can consider moving out, living with your boyfriend. And make your own money, don't depend on your boyfriend to cover you. Be independent.

But with that said, should you decide to go for emancipation, you have to get a parent, a guardian or a guardian at litem to file the petition with the court.

You left out the part in this second question about this adult male already knocking you up when you were 15 and has been doing you since you were13. Oh yes, you also forgot to mention that, that is why your parents don`t want this man around you and you must seek emancipation to be with him.
Those are the kind of questions that would need to be answered before a court.

I wish you good luck but while saying that I also hope that you will change your mind.
It isn't easy out in this world and you never know what is going to happen. with your boyfriend.
16 is a bit young and well you are only going from dependence on your parents to dependence on him.
What if things don't work out. If you want emancipation
it will be much harder to go back home. Wait until your 18
finish school.
Good luck and think about your actions because the consquences could really screw up your life.

You have to petition the courts, usually your parents will either protest or consent. This means that they are no longer obligated to financially care for you, provide for you. You will legally be an adult and totally responsible for yourself.
