The democrats said all that garbage to get back the congress, and they got it. They knew there was nothing they could do about the war, they knew that before you voted for them

I'll bet you that Dennis Kucinich won't be voting for this bill. I am a democrat at heart, but this is ridiculous. The only reason they won both houses is their promise to force the President to change course in Iraq. Why is it that they are such p******? There is no compromise to this bill, exect that maybe now the Gulf Coast will finally get some attention. I guess all politicians are alike. Maybe we could get Lou Dobbs to run as an independent based on a platform of issues. Now that would be something different.

At least Canada has universal health!
A. if we would strike they would just beat us down.
B. if we don't worry about it then things just keep getting worse.
C. if we don't pay taxes, we don't eat, we don't work, we don't live. The government gets its money one way or the other.
D. Survival of the fittest. Its all a power struggle Dem/Rep. Which ever has the most money will get office
E. What the heck lets immigrate to another country and cause problems there.

I agree with your choice of E. I don't see any candidate, either Republican or Democrat I embrace their values or have confidence in to run our country. If enough people would stop voting for the "lesser of the two evils" we would find someone that would do a proper job for this country.
I don't believe in "rolling over" for anyone but I do believe in supporting our government and this country. I only wish I knew how to do it effectively as one person...........

The tax thing would only work if EVERYONE stopped paying. Of course, then you'd start to starve and lose all benefits that your government provides, and Canada would come and take over.
