The janitors, the mailman, the garbage man......etc? They really do us a service and deserve our gratitude.

Your are absolutely right!! Good point,however I am blessed with being friends(2o plus years) with the garbage man,who knocks on my door every Thursday morning and asks to use the bathroom,and for a cup of coffee,he is far from the silent type!!However , if I forget to put my cans out he comes around the side of the house and gets them for me!!!

No - I tip my garbage man once a month, I give the mailman cans of pop (he walks into our office)
and I really don't know a janitor but I would be nice to him too!

I never for get them on Christmas and on hot days I've surprised them with Ice cold water or Ice tea.

No I am nice to everyone...it is funny that you mentioned the trash man because he teases me because I put in a stick up or whatever those thingmajiggers are called...the smell good stuff...He thinks it is hilarious but I do it so it wont stink so bad...He said now it just smells like flowery trash...lol...I tried dern it!

That is where so many of the best people are. They make sure when they do speak that it is worth saying instead of over-using words like the rest of us lol.

I never take for granted anyone,or any job, I would not be willing to do myself. I always go out of my way to be extra thankful & curteous to them.

yes i think that we all do at one point or another i mean we cant always be perfect...look at it this way....have you ever cussed a traffic flagger out because he isnt doing what you want him to do or a police officer fireman emt or even fire police dont forget about those people also

No, I DO let them KNOW that they are appreciated, by handing them a cold bottle of water on a hot day, a Christmas card during the holiday season, or just smiling/waving and acknowledging them! =)
