Obviously, intelligence is not a specific requirement for the position.

But from what I can find, seven of 43 were left handed...about 16%, which is about the high estimate for the proportion of Americans.

Most were recently (Ford, Reagan, Bush, Clinton). This reflects the decreased disadvantages to lefties, the discontinued active dissuasion of the behavior, and the concomitant increase in their demographic representation.

Prior to Ford, only three of 37 (8%) were left handed.

Moreover, among the seven lefties were five that did not have very remarkable presidencies: Garfield, Hoover, Truman, Ford, Bush. Only Reagan and Clinton served more than one term.

No. We right handed peoples is smarties too!!!! LOLOLOL!!!!shift+1!!!!eleven!!!!

Honestly, I'm not sure. Perhaps it's psychological - left-handed people were told that being left-handed was wrong until relatively recently (like, the 1950s). So perhaps those people have/had an extra drive that made them want to prove that being left-handed wouldn't stop someone from being succesful.

My son is left handed and we did research on left handed people. There are more inteligent people who are left handed, Einstien for example. My son has a very high IQ also.

Not at all. Maybe the men's right hands got tired more quickly for some reason?
