Do you feel sorry for them? Do you think "What a loser"? What is your reaction?
Do yall get my question?

the reason I am asking is because I broke my bed about a year ago. I had screws put in my leg, and I was on crutches for 16 weeks.
I had my screws taken out yesterday (ouch) , so now I am on cruches for about a week (I think).
I don't care if you think "what a loser". It use to bother me, but I learned the hard way that it doesn't matter what people think.

I have gone through all of this, and I am only 13 years old.

That is a funny store. The roller blade one lol.

But I have to say I have heard funnier.

This one guy was on a 3 step ladder on a SLANTED roof!!
When his wife was telling me; I really couldn't control myself; I mean WHO puts a ladder on a SLANTED roof?! It was a good laugh. I never saw him again.

This one girl (who seemed to me to also be anorexic) was wearing 6 inch heels when her leg broke, she tried to climb a 15 foot rocky hill with her boyfriend. I couldn't even treat her because I found it so funny. I had to get another doctor to help her, I spent the rest of my day with the biggest smile on my face. I mean HELLO, if you're going to go hiking why on earth are you wearing 6 inch heels?! Are you insane? AND she had dirt and leaves all over her. It was something you had to see and hear to believe.

This old guy broke his leg while he was trying to impress this women by standing up while on the Ferris Wheel. I thought that was beyond cute, but the fact that he was trying to impress another old woman made it funny-cute.

This boy broke BOTH his legs while trying to use a big peoples ramp (he was only 7). I was astonished that his parents even let him go to a skate park with ramps, even more astonished when I reliazed I was never able to use a skateboard no matter how hard I tried. The funny part about this one was; I saw him again after he healed, for the same reason. That made it hilarious and cute.

One time a middle aged girl, about 24, intentionally broke her leg because she wanted to be treated by another doctor in the ER, I got her and when she told me that after I gave her morphine, I swear to you I couldn't hold back my laughter, I was like, I've met him and I can easily tell you he IS NOT worthy of such extreme measures. Needless to say I told him and they're still dating to my suprise (The sad part is; he's engaged to someone totally different)

I think "Ouch, that probably hurt." I don't think they are losers or anything like that. When I was a kid, I thought crutches were cool. If someone broke their leg, we would all fight over playing with the crutches.

I snapped my knee in half when I was young. I was in a wheel chair then on crutches for a year, healing. I always feel a little sorry for anyone who doesn't have full use of limbs-but the ones a say a little prayer for are the ones you can tell have a permanent disability-BUT FOR THE GRACE OF GOD, GO I!....

I am currently on crutches with a broken foot. I do not want sympathy nor do I want people to feel sorry for me. However, asking if I need something when you go to get coffee or something to eat would be courteous since I cannot carry food or drink while gimping along.

I feel sorry for them, crutches are no fun to use, especially when the injury is bad.

If they are someone I know I get the urge to give them a shove.
So far will power has prevailed!

I have compassion because I've been on crutches and it really limits your ability to get around, plus you must endure all the snide remarks from immature "people" and such.....

They just want attention! I'd rather be in bed, resting, not trying to conquer the world.

I think of how Ted Bundy used them to con girls, so I think more "What a psycho" than loser.

I guess we got it. I really don't think about it too much. I certainly don't think of them as loosers, I am more likely to think of them as handicapped.
