Have you thought about asking him to turn it the other way? Or maybe you could do that when he's not looking.

If you have, then whatever works.............LOL

Hey Cowboy, why not just invest in some mini blinds, or a dark curtain, in a pinch even those dark blackish green colored garbage bags can be hung over a window to block out light, as well as an old Elvis favorite of putting up aluminum foil.

And just what's gonna happen if the guy starts shooting back?
Yikes!

1. Get some blinds
2. pay a 3 A.M visit (with a hammer) to that light bulb and shatter it in a towel. Leave the base stuck in there so he can't get it out.
3. When he replaces it, take your hammer to the whole fixture.
4. Be sure to run after each visit.

Wow, actually had two army buddies that did a similar thing except it was street light. Once the bill came for the entire neighborhood for $900replacement they went out and bought heavy curtains and left it alone.

His light cost alot more than your pellets so i wouldn't be concerned about that.
But..... why don't you just put up some good window coverings that would block the light,
his flood light could be saving you from some theif in the night. ♥

I have a neighbor like that also. I'm really tempted to do that very thing, but I planted a bunch of really bushy shrubbery. It will be tall enough next year to block his @$$hole light.

BTW, he _hates_ wild onions so I made sure to seed his lot with a couple of pounds of onion seed from last year.
He should have a good crop next spring.
☺
To the person who emailed me: Yes, I mean _pounds_ of onion seeds!! harahrharahrharhar

your neighbor sounds pretty rude, it sounds like you already have asked him to turn it off at night and he doesn't. I would be pissed off too. However, he may call the cops on you if you keep shooting out the bulb. I agree with one of the other posters....put a spot light aimed at his bedroom window and see if he likes it.

I would be very irritated. However, you cannot make anyone a decent human being. I recommend getting some curtains. They make some pretty inexpensive ones that will make your room as dark as a cave when you sleep.

I'd keep shooting it until the bastard learns his leason. Just make sure he can't prove its you - you have to be smarted than him. He'll eventually get tired of replacing it like you are of him not turning it off.
