Basically stole trade secrets to sell to Pepsi and she received 8 years in prison!

She should be punished, no doubt about it.....but EIGHT years. There are rapists and child molesters that get such sentences. She basically stole secrets and lied, but EIGHT years. Holy sh*t, I'm just shocked......

Andrew Fastow of Enron only got 6 years for his complicity in a scheme which defrauded shareholders of tens of billions of dollars. And he's one of the very few corporate crooks of this ilk who have even been prosecuted.

Hardly seems proportional.

And this Coke employee's actions - in the end - did not result in any economic harm to anybody. 1-2 years would have been adequate.

Well stealing trade secretsnad selling them is a serious crime, imagine her stealing Bush's war plans and selling them to Iraq/Iran. Same difference, different scale...One is punishable by death. I think the big thing here is the money that was involved and lying with the help of a bad lawyer.

If you go to federal prison 8 years is a light sentence.
