are always happy to do stuff with you when you call them but never call you to suggest going places, etc.? How do you feel about that?

Maybe they enjoy your ideas better! After all, they are your friends, what does it really matter if they don't call you with any ideas on what to do together? Being together and sharing, is what really counts I believe!

I would be that friend-definetely guilty as charged! I have this one friend who plans all the get-togethers for our "circle of friends". We used to hang out all the time in high school but we all went our separate ways after graduation, so whenever everybody is home for the holidays or whatever, she calls us up to see when everybody's free so we can all kick it for a day. Even though we dont see each other much its always like old times whenever we get together. She doesn't seem to have a problem with it at all and we always have fun together, so its all good.

Maybe they do so because they can't think of any interesting places to go to. Or maybe they don't care what they are doing or where they are going as long as it's with the person that they enjoy being with. I don't take offense to that at all. If anything I'm more flattered by the fact that they enjoy my company that much.

At least they are happy to join you. You can ask them to let you know if they're going to an interesting place coz you like their company.

i'd feel like they were useing me because if i suggest it that means i'd have to pay or take them there and if they never asked me to do anything i wouldnt either
