1. Because Bush and his cronies only really care for their own initiatives - such as getting a do-over for the end of the Gulf war and maintaining control over the resources of the US and other countries.
2. Because the FBI ten most wanted terrorists is a different list...

"The alleged terrorists on this list have been indicted by sitting Federal Grand Juries in various jurisdictions in the United States for the crimes reflected on their wanted posters. Evidence was gathered and presented to the Grand Juries, which led to their being charged. The indictments currently listed on the posters allow them to be arrested and brought to justice. Future indictments may be handed down as various investigations proceed in connection to other terrorist incidents, for example, the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001."

The FBI works in the States and it is pretty unlikely that Bin Laden is hiding out here.

Edit: he IS on their list

Excellent question. I've heard a disturbing number of people say that bin Laden is insignificant because finding him won't solve the problem of international terrorism. And whether or not you believe that problem CAN be solved... I think it's important to punish that monster for what he did to my country. I don't know why we haven't done it yet. We found Saddam in a hole in the ground in a rural area of Iraq. I don't know why the hell we can't find Osama bin Laden.

Good question. I have been wondering how we could find Saddam in a hole in the dessert, but not a 6'4" man on dialysis. Surely, someone knows where he is. If what you say is true, about him not on the FBI's Most Wanted list, then I am truly appalled.

The FBI deals with spying in the US and the CIA does the international spying. So he would be of more concern to the CIA than FBI.

The Bin Laden, Saud, and Bush families have been friends and business partners for decades. It was Bin Laden money that bailed Dubya out of at least one of his several failed business ventures.

Ah, cause the FBI is an internal law enforcement branch of the federal government?

Besides finding him would open another can of worms.
I hope they killed him long ago and left his remains at the bottom of an imploded cave deep in the Hindu -Kush to be forgotten for all eternity.

Thats what I want to know to

How much you want to bet that shortly after Bush leaves office (and washes his hands on the war) we are able to track this bin laden guy down ... I would not be the least bit surprised

because bush knows he wasn't the one that did it. the only reason bush found saddam was because he had it out for him from the beginning. saddam was following the treaty rules implemented by bush sr. So what was the problem. Bush needed a scape goat and he happen to be it. Do some research...don't believe what the media says because the twist things to convince you of what they want you to believe. Bush knows more than he is letting know. Bin landen just agreed with what happened on that dreadful day....does that say he actually did it---i think not.

He is on the most wanted list.

Osama bin Laden, as a representation of what George considers evil, is far more valuable free than in prison. Americans won't be afraid of George's bogeyman if he is imprisoned.

Because the FBI deals within the country, learn something before you post.
