Check how you are doing with your different stat categories. If you need stolen bases, then no question go with Ramirez!

Hardy started off very hot, but has cooled down as of late .233 avg. 2 HR 4 RBI over the last week.

While Ramirez over the last week is batting .280 1 HR 1 RBI but 2 SB.

There are not that many SB guys right now. I would personally go with Ramirez.

I think it is a good idea to trade Hardy while he's hot. He will probably be a good fantasy player this season, but probably not as good as he's doing right now. The fact that you need speed and already have decent power, I would definitely make that trade. However, the other person might realize Hardy is probably over-achieving and might not accept the trade. It is worth trying though because Ramirez will steal a ton of bases. 40-50 would be realistic.

If you didn't already have power in your lineup, I wouldn't do it, but since you do, go ahead an propose the trade.

If you need the speed he has got it. I have Hardy in my Keeper League and Ramirez in my Roto League they are both great young shortstops. Hardy really isnt that proven yet where as Ramirez has a proven year under his belt. Hardy is going to see alot of good pitches with "the prince" protecting him. But if you need speed, Hardy is great bait right now, could even maybe get another guy with him for Hardy he's so hot !

Both are pretty equal, but personally I would prefer Hardy. He has more muscle in RBI and HR, but Hanley does have some wheels. It's up to you whether the SB are worth it.

If you believe Hardy can keep it up stay with him. I don't think he will and would go with Ramirez.
