How would all the McCann supporters react?

I was wondering how all the people who stick up for Maddies parents and say they did no wrong would react if they had left there child with the McCanns and it was there child who was snatched??

Would you all be saying they did nothing wrong or would your tune soon change..

To be honist I am not interested how the parents feel I am not saying they deserve it as no one deserves that to happen but i am more concerned about maddy then the two terrible excuses for parents

If it was my child i would blame the mccanns more than i blame them now(if that's possible) the way they are acting cool,calm and collected could be picked up the wrong way by the kidnappers, they probably think they don't give a toss cause 20 days later and still not a tear in public.it's alright to try and stay strong but how many of yous could actually do it.i know i couldn't. maybe if they did beg ,scream and cry they may prick a little guilt in someones conscience and they may get their daughter back sooner rather than later.by the way united states of islam go chew on a hedgehog you sick pig

well it wouldn't bother the McCann's, they'd just go on a walk about tour, waving to their followers and planning their itinery. I'm sick and tired of people defending their selfish decision,it makes me wonder what sort of people they are if they can't imagine how frightened a small child would be, to wake up, in the dark, to discover no parents around ....

This issue seems to have been lost in the very sad events that have taken place and as this saga continues it seems to be vanishing all together. I pray to god that she is still alive somewhere however it will be interesting to see if anything happens to them if she is found alive. Will she be returned to them. I'd be interested to hear what social services would say on the matter of leaving 3 very young minors alone like that.

What really gets me is the "McCann fans" saying that the parents are allowed time alone to enjoy themselves.

Did they not have enough time during the day while the kids were at the creche. Obviously not. These people have shown that their own enjoyment comes before the safety of their own children. They have all day to sun themselves after dropping their kids at the creche and then have the audacity to leave them alone after they had fallen asleep to spend yet more time alone.

What gets me is this family holiday was nothing of the sort! It was a holiday where the kids spent minimal time with their parents. I class a family holiday as spending quality time with my husband and my daughter. We ensure that she has a good time WITH US and then we feel like we could do with another holiday to recover when we get back. Seeing her having fun makes every minute of our holiday enjoyable.

To answer it; they would probably feel exactly the same, I mean, the McCanns didn't mean to do it, it was a mistake, anyone could have done it, all the McCann supporters probably leave their kids alone too, so it would probably be a case of "s*it happens"...Why do you have to bring my sarcastic side out, Dan? Good point, well if my son was left with them and he went missing the mccann mum and dad would be in a body bag by now .
oh and im not sticking up for them , think thay were very wrong to leave 3 small children alone.

I think you are absolutely right, I do not agree with anyone who is supporting parents that leave their own children alone for even 5 minutes. If the parents would not have neglected their children, poor maddie would still be with them today.

I do not care who it is. No amount of money would ever enter into my head to find my son/daughter. It is the last thing I would be interested in. Money is the root of all evil.

My tune would stay exactly the same; they were irresponsible, probably because they were on holiday were people tend to think they're safer than at home.

However the volume would change. At present, I've no connection to the McCanns. In your scenario, they'd be people I know personally and would hav entrusted with my own child, and I'd be emotionally a lot more upset. I'd be angry off with them. But emotions do not determine morality, and in the current situation, they feel that anger towards themselves.
