The way you worded this questionn made me wonder, I hope you didn't lose a baby, if you did I am sorry for your loss. But YES the milk will dry up, its painful and annoying until then. I lost twin sons in December 2006 and mine go so huge and rock hard...PAINFUL. So of course I was already grieving and here I am with a chest full of milk and no babies to feed it to while sitting at the cemetary watching my babies be put into the ground....HARD...But it will get better, promise!

Most people let it dry up on it's own. It will be painful for a few days but it will go away. Cool compresses or cabbage leaves are supposed to help but with my first I just let them go. I wore tight shirts under my regular shirt to help and I had breast pads in case of leaking.

Yes it does. I lost my first baby due to a miscarriage and nature took care of it. I breast fed my daughter for about 2 months and my doctor said there was nothing to take to dry the milk. He told me to bind my breast to help with the discomfort. It was not pleasant, but in a few days things got better.

THey don't give out meds anymore to dry up your milk, so you have to wrap yourself tightly with an ace bandage, for a couple days and it will help the drying process because yes it will dry up on its own.

This happened to me after I delivered a baby at 20 weeks. My breasts filled up with milk. I was told to wear tight sports bras, wrap my breasts in ace bandages to help with pain, and let my breasts alone. They will become rock-hard and will be very painful. It's best not to touch them or to rub them as you do not want to lactate. They will dry up within a few days.

Yes, it will dry up on it's own, but first you will have to deal with being engorged. It's extremely uncomfortable, so keep some ice packs or bags of frozen peas handy to put on your breasts. It won't last long.

Yes. Eventually your body will realize that the baby is not there any more and your boobs and everything else will go back to normal.

With my first, mine just dried up on it's own. sometimes they have pills they can give you to help this process if there's a problem (so i've heard anyway).
