There is so much in a girl to like. Inner beauty is as important as outer beauty. A girl who can make the heart skip a beat with her words, thoughts, actions is what guys should look for. To be honest, looks are important but if the heart is more beautiful then looks don't matter that much anymore.

i personally would want a honest, trustworthy, open minded, kind hearted, giving person, but if she came with extras like beautiful, drop dead sexy, great cook/baker then wow it would be an added bonus but we cant have it all so as long as she has the some of the above mentioned qualities i could ask for more and as long as she knows i will always be with her through good and bad times no matter what, and her or my past is the past, we should concentrate on the future....love enjoy and make the best of what we have....

Going by my Animal theory of human phsycology, boys dont look for anything. They need 1) a girl 2) something challenging.
So, if there is a beautiful girl, and she is choosy in making friends (typical female behavious in animal world) she appears as a challange to males, and has to be conquered.
Boys rarely look out for future life partners. Its older men who lookout for for life partners.
In the animal world,
1. The priviledge of choice lies with females not males, i.e. females are choosers not males, same in humans.
2. Males show off or flaunt skills that differentiates them from other competing males, same in humans
3. Males remain interested in the accompanying female as long as female is capable of drawing a competiton for her male. It could be her own intelligence or beauty.

First look definitely Physical, but after being friend go for nature - In fact ultimately Nature covers 70%. if look is not so good then also fine but nature is definitely important for being a life partner.. after all it's not just about sex it's about the whole life..!!

When i was a teen ager i didn't worry about a life partner i just worried about having fun so i wanted someone who liked to have fun looked good was nice and respectful of others. my husband is all of those things and much more but when looking for a life partner i looked at the faults of the others and asked myself can i live with these faults.

You being top contributor and have asked such question we welcome you! The answer is simple. Boys look in girls average beauty but a loyal ,sincere and 'domestic 'wife who could manage house hold affairs as if wife is good whole family is happy and will get good culture through her.

she must be understanding, cute , sweet , funny and caring and she must have a good heart and good nature and she must be beautiful . beauty matters little less for me then heart and nature
