till the other day dip. candidates were eligible to appear forJEE,now i am not so sure. check it out.
if are you are eligible with all it's attendant conditions you can go ahead.
for preparation you better start now earnestly,join two year coaching classes preferably class room coaching.be prepared for cost,time and most importantly effort.if you know somebody who has prepared seriously,find out from them max.information.
