Today, I noticed while feeding them, that my fish has lost a eye. It looks like where the eye was, is healed. It is eating, and swimming fine. But, I am wondering why it lost it's eye? Is this normal? Will my fish die?

It's certainly not normal at all. That is usually due to disease or serious physical damage. If it appears to have already healed there is nothing you can or should do for the fish except provide good food and proper aquarium maintenance.
