My team is finally putting it all together. How does this sound for your QB, by the way is 6'6 260-#1 pick- throws 80 yrds. no problem: Jerry Porter, Ronald Curry, Alvis Witted, Mike Williams, and now the signing of Travis Taylor out of Minn. Russell has to be licking his chops at this, and also Jordan can catch out of the backfield as a check down receiver. Not to mention our solid Defense. WOW, Lane Kiffin means business and is taking charge. Silver and Black are back!!!!!!!

It is very hard to complete passes when you spend 80% of the time on your back.........

yes the raiders are loaded with talent, veterans and rookies. there is no way you can say the raiders dont have talent on both sides of the ball, robert gallery was selected number 2 overall for a reason, he played a zone blocking scheme at iowa and the raiders are planning on mimicking the best scheme in the league (the broncos). Jerry Porter is a proven number 1, ronald curry would start for the 49ers and many other teams, mike willaims had his best years with coach kiffin and he will have a second chance. we have the best west coast fullback in the league (justin griffith) three or four good running backs, one that could be a bust or become an elite (michael bush). they finally have a tight end after about 15 years. and you cant doubt the defense, it is clearly one of the best in the league. by far the fastest, they could work on their run D, but their pass D is flawless. and with a top 3 defensive line, offenses dread playing them. Cant wait until they play the colts, Manning vs. Asomugha and Co.
my prediction=8-8

These other people arent fans of football because if they were they would know offseason acquisitions. The Raiders added three key free agents to their offensive line. They had a top 3 defense last year and will be as good or better this year. The Raiders will easily contend for the AFC West title. They almost beat most of the division, but their offense let them down. Now with an IMPROVED offensive line, they will be a good team again.

Typical Raider fan with delusions of grandeur. Your team might actually have more that 3 wins this year but to think that you are going to get passed an 8/8 record is a joke.

Loaded with WR talent? really? no.

i cant believe someone put "raiders" "loaded" and "talent" in the same sentence

sounds good on paper, but the football world will be watchin oakland all season

id like to see the raiders become a contender again

sucks to see a premier team of the 70s turned into what they have been the last decade

i agree, others just dont know what we've done with our line, and/or what was the problem with our line last year(outdated). i say our line will be the top 10, top 15 at the worst, and thats a huge improvement from being the worst. i say mccown plays maybe 6-8 games, and russ takes over, his mind is like a sponge right now. heck, save bush and russ, throw em in next year. everyone will see. 7-9 at the worst

the raiders defense isnt bad at all and the new additions should b good if they can get it together (porter n williams) if they play up to their potential then the raiders could make some noise and suprise others

The key will be to protect JR. He has a cannon for an arm and will find a receiver if he has the time. I watched every game he played at LSU....he is the real deal.

Uh...They are still going to be the worst team in the NFL...Wishful thinking is easy when the season hasn't started and everyone is 0-0...Then reality sets in when the season starts...

WR is the least important posistion. If I could have a HOF WR or HOF LT I'd take the line man.
