Ok, I do believe in going to the bathroom when you have to release gas, but sometimes you have to do it right there where you are. I have noticed when I find a aisle in a store thats empty, I release..then people come up behind me. Or when I used to be a cashier, there would be nobody in my line for at least 5 minutes, but as soon as I release I get customers or a manager has to ask me a question....do you think they are just drawn to it..lol

I hate that! I try to get away before I get caught, but it never works.

Murphy's Law LOL! I asked this to myself MANY times. You can go for a doctors appointment at a specified time, and they leave you in room WAITING for 30 or 40 minutes for your doctor to come in, and JUST the time you decide you want to "let it rip", the doctor will show up! Never fails!

I don't know but I have walked up behind someone after they have let out gas, and its rude and nasty. If you just have to let it out, then go to a corner somewhere, then no one is behind you. Just turn your back to the corner and let it out. At least have that much dignity.

there will ALWAYS be some one behind you... ALWAYS...

but you will realize it more when you pass gas, because you are checking and everything...

its scary how many times there is someone behind you... all the time... 24/7... well, that happens to me... oh no... =(

It is embarrassing in public. But as they say, more room out then in.... But I do agree, if near someone, please apologize, at the very least.
