i proposed manny ramirez and ryan dempster who are on my team for ichiro and jj putz. IS this good for me or unfair

If your team needs speed it would be a good trade. If you need power numbers keep Ramirez. Putz and Dempster are a push and too close to call.

Putz and Dempster are pratically equal for now, though Putz will give you better ratios and a few more K's. Plus there are rumblings that Demp might be moved to the rotation, which would plummet his value. So you definitely win there.

Manny's best months have always been the summer months, and he bats cleanup on one of the top offenses in the league, so you'd kind of be selling low on him. But Ichiro will really help with AVG and SBs, so it really does depend on what stats you need. If you have other players that can make up the HRs and RBIs that Manny will produce, I'd say it's a good trade.

If you dont need HRs and RBIs it is a good trade for you.
