Not Shawn of the Dead, but it is an older humorous Zombie flick...The main character has an English accent, at one point he holds up a lawnmower tied to his body and begins mowing down zombies, and says, "Parties over" when he enters the room. This is driving me crazy...plzzz help!

There was also a movie where a comet hit earth and cheerleader survived. I think it was a zombie movie and a bit funny too.

Night of the Comet:
The Earth passes through the tail of a comet, which dooms all human and animal life except for those who happened to be completely enclosed inside metal containers (for example, the three main protagonists spend the night in a metal shed, a steel-lined projection room, and an 18-wheeler's trailer). Unprotected people and animals quickly dehydrate and turn into piles of red calcium dust. Those only partially exposed first gradually degenerate into cannibalistic zombies for hours or days before succumbing.

I think the movie you're talking about is called Dead Alive. It came out in 1992 and is listed as a comedy/horror. I remember that scene you're talking about. He has the lawn mower in his living room and just mows every zombie in sight down.

I think is dead alive. The scene you refer to happens at the end of the movie. One of my favorite scenes is where this priest is runnig through the cementary and zombies attack him. The priest uses his martial arts skill to kill the zombies, tearing limbs apart. I though it was hilarious. A martial arts priest (non shaolin monk) hahaha. The movie in general is about this animal tha has a virus. You se somewhere in africa (I think it ws africa) these monkeys raped these rats or was it rabbits? The point is tat these newanimal hybrid was created. It was transported to england and ofcourse it escaped. This guy's mom get bitten and the movie goes from there.

I think the movie you are thinking of is "Dead Alive."
It was originally titled "Braindead" and it features plenty of lawnmower action. It was actually a film directed by Peter Jackson.

Enjoy.

It's called "Dead Alive".
Peter Jackson of "Lord of the Rings" fame did this one.
Eli Roth of "Hostel" and "Cabin Fever" has been quoted as saying;
"This movie is the only movie I have ever seen that satisfied my thirst for blood. I never thought to myself, this movie needs more blood!"

Lawnmower? Are you sure it's not a chainsaw? Evil Dead is what I think you're thinking of.
