I'm thinking about getting a Harley, but wasn't sure if there was such a thing as chick bikes like there are chick cars.

I do consider the H-D Sportster, Honda VT750DC & C2 and any other midsize motorcylce a chicks bike. They are all small and have little power. That was actually the reason why I did not get the Honda 750c2. I ended up with a Kawa that has a full size frame and has the agressive looks. H-D has some nice bikes bue make sure you get one with a water cool system. Otherwise you will be burning some body parts at every stop light like my friend with his new sportster.

The Harley Davidson Sportster 883 is considered a Chick bike. It has the least power, least price, and is the lightest product they build. It also has the lowest seat at 26 inches
Earlier models were know to have excessive vibration which some females seems to like

Technically the answer is no. Bikes are unisex.
But there are bikes that some people who spend too much time worrying about other people like to scoff at and call girly bikes. Those will be any bikes that are small in size - or sometimes those with bright color schemes.
Since you sound a bit as if you worry too much about what others think of you, then play it "safe" and get the biggest bike you can find!

If you make a comment of a "chick bike" to a rider. Most will think of the 883 when referring to harley's. My personal opinion is buy whats best for you. Not what you think you'll look coolest on. You'll live much longer. By the way. If the bike you want is made with fuel injection go for it. (all 07's have it) You'll save yourself hours every month if you put alot of miles on it. (Or dollars if you pay someone else to sync your carbs). Link takes you to the most popular girl bike by harley. the 883 low.

A lot of people think of the Sportster 883 as a chick bike. My personal opinion is "ride your own", meaning if you like it, who cares what anyone else thinks. The whole biker image thing is supposed to be individuality, but most bikers are more into image and worrying what others think about their ride than enjoying the ride.
Get what you like and ride it with pride, chick bike or not.

I think you mean a chick magnet bike. If so a great paint job and a Harley. That vibration seems to do something for them.

Buy a Guzzi. They can stop, go and handle all very well. A chick bike ie. a Harley, can't do any of those.

people will talk all sorts of smack about the Sporty being a girl bike. It is an excellent bike, fun to ride, easy to maintain.
