you will be oh-ish without AV considering what you have on your machine already.. i would recommend an additional AV strongly though.. try:

AVG Free:

OR

Avast Free AV:

As an IT professional I would say that internetting without virus protection is like driving without a seat belt. You leave yourself vulnerable to a lot of stuff. Sure, you might be able to survive without it, but if an accident occurs you'll really wish you'd had it in place.

Google for AVG, it's a completely free Anti Virus program for non-commercial users. It works beautifully and doesn't hog system resources.

I take it you're using Windows!? If so, as the above user states, you can use it without an anti-virus. Just be sensible and don't open any emails from an unknown source and be carefull which websites you visit.

You maye have issues with internet worms but a decent firewall policy should keep them out.

However, seeing as you can download a decent AV package for free, such as AVG I'd probably recommend using one.

You can get by, but for complete protection, I would get an anti-virus. The one I recommend is Panda Anti-Virus. It is simply wonderful and very user friendly.

Get an anti-virus program. There are various free programs out there today and you can find reviews of these program through sites like PC-World and C-NET. But keep in mind you should ONLY have ONE AV program.

Running without an antivirus is extremely dangerous and is definately not recomended.

Modern day worms can infect your computer while you sleep; you have to have an antivirus and a firewall to protect yourself.
