I used to believe that the world was once black and white since old photos and television was in black and white. I also used to believe that if you went anywhere on an airplane that your destination was on a cloud.

I used to believe that all movies were in the present time. I don't know why - but Indiana Jones, Sound of Music - I thought they were in the present and I couldn't figure out why there were Nazis! I also used to believe that a check was actual money - so if my mom said she couldn't afford something, I couldn't understand why because she could just write whatever amount she wanted on a check!

I believed that if i swallowed the seeds of any fruit while eating it, the next morning the tree of it will grow from my stomach and come through my mouth. I also believed that every airplane that was seen on the sky was goin to drop bombs at some places (i would hide under trees then if there was no other shelter, all so scared)

Hey I asked this same question a couple of days ago...cool...anyway

When I was little, you know the sitcoms that are taped in front of a studio audience. I used to think that when I heard laughing it was other people at their own homes watching television, and that I could hear them laughing so I would try to be the loudest one so somebody would hear me

thought being "born again" meant that I would get back into my mother's womb and become a baby again.

Amazingly enough, when I was a little girl, I thought the whole world, universe, etc was all in the belly of a giant dragon. When it rained, he was drinking water, when it hailed, snowed, etc he was chewing ice, or having a slurpee. When there was lightning, then he was very tired and kept yawning. When it was night, he was awake, and when it was day, he was sleeping, snoring with his mouth open allowing for the sunlight. Crazy I know, but I was quite the creative little thing.

Probably God and that The Care Bears might actually exist. I used to stare at clouds for hours in the hope I might actually see a Care Bear up there. Aaaah, childhood was such an innocent time!

When I was a kid, my mom worked at ABC, and one day she was taking me with her to meet Lee Majors (The Six Million Dollar Man). I believed he was really bionic and had all those amazing abilities, and I was going to ask him to write the alphabet a million times in a minute! She had to break the news to me beforehand.

My best friend one told me that Adam and Eve lived up in a tree on the playground and so every day I would stand looking for them but they were never day. Finally, 2 years later she told me she was kidding.

That giving the 'finger' to a person was actually a swear toward God. I'd stick up my middle finger but cover it with my other hand so that God wouldn't be able to see it. (??) I was probably about 6 years old back then. My belief in God went away shortly after though.

My best friend moved to from Arizona to New Mexico when I was little; she called me and I asked her what time it was and it like 9:15pm, but it was 9:13pm in AZ. I yelled to my brother, "There's a 2 minute time difference!" He still won't quit bringing that up. I'm such a newb. :)
