Unfortunately Steinbrenner doesnt realize what a damn good manager Torre really is. I think Torre is gone from the Yankees at the end of the year especially if they dont make the playoffs. I think the Yankees will still push the Red Sox for the division but the wild card is coming from the AL Central.

100% torre is gone if the yankees dont even make the playoffs and id say 90% if they go out first rd... i think unless they make the world series that torre has about a 75% chance of being let go

I think he will be getting the sack very shortly. Therefore ,whether or not they make the playoffs will not affect his exit. He will be long gone before they are eliminated or make the playoffs. Most likely they will be on the sidelines come October.

i dont think that Torre will get fired and i think they will make the playoffs as well. Id say 90 percent for both.
