does anybody else think that maybe santos isn't dead, that maybe the father was the one who was killed? remember a few episodes before the finale, when the dad was in mexico & it seemed like someone was there to kill him?

no santos is dead cause the actor who plays santos signed a contract with the now cancelled drive . and bettys father being in mexico is aggrivating me now cause they need him back home . I hope next season explores this issue more . Ilove ugly betty one of my fav shows .

You do have a good point, but I agree with the first answerer. I think they're going to address the dad's story in the next season. I just hope Santos isn't dead. Can you imagine the guilt Justin will feel, since he put walnuts in that kids food on purpose knowing he was allergic to them just to get the part in the show. That's going to eat him up. And Santos was becoming such a great character, it would be a shame to lose him so soon.

i guess it's possible i thought about that it just really made it seem like it was santos that was shot in the robbery.
when i saw the episode i thought that he left for drive just assuming that everything was filmed before drive started.

the father doesnt die. i think theyre waiting to bring out his issues next season. supposedly santos dies, but i read this article that theres rumor that he might come back. i cant wait for the next season.
