Written part first time. Driving part 7 or 8 times, passed on the 9th, the first instructor was jealous of me and she had dated a cousin of mine so she was still bitter. I asked for a new instructor and passed.
I'm a good driver, it still doesn't explain the 245 some odd tickets I've received

I failed my driving test on the first try....which was the road part of the test. I passed the written both times I had to go for my license.

I passed the written part on the first try(missed all that I could miss) Took me three tries for the driving test.

Yes I did,my father let me drive his car in a big open field until I got it .Then we went on the highway and he didn't say a word until I made a left turn without putting on a signal. He explain to me how important that was. The written test is easy just study and get someone to practice test with you.

Aced the written test, then failed the driving part. She said that I should have counted to five-one-thousand when I stopped at intersection and then proceeded to go on through. I stopped long enough to look both ways(twice). I'm still sore about the subject.

I got my DL in Germany and I past my written test the first try (got 6 answers wrong - was allowed to have 7 wrong before failing - out of almost 100 questions) and then the driving test itself, I past that also the first try. Thank god, its too expensive to retake the test and to get more lessions - which is mandetory in Germany
