the chicken because i believe that God put 2 of each animal on the earth then they reproduced etc.

The real question is "What came first the Chicken or the Chicken's egg". We already know that "the egg" was found before the evolution of a chicken.

The distant ancestors of the chicken already layed eggs. So it's the egg.

The egg, because it was layed by something a bit more lizard-y than a chicken. Eggs go back several evolutionary generations before Gallus gallus managed to hatch from one.
