I'm an Eagles fan but i have to say the '93 Cowboys.
But the best teams are long forgotten.
'72 dolphins undefeated.
'48 Cleveland Browns were the only undefeated team in season and in playoffs
'40 Bears with the most points in a single game against the skins 73-0
just amazing old school teams. But they were before the NFL merge.

Despite losing four superbowls in row, I would have to say the Buffalo Bills of the early 90's. You'll never see a team go to 4 straight again with free agency and the cap. Also, that team already has 2 players ( Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas) and their coach( Marv Levy) enshrined in the HOF. A few others like Bruce Smith and Andre Reed will go soon, the owner Ralph wilson jr should already be in, and possible longshots like Steve Tasker or Kent Hull. Not too many teams from one time period have that caliber of talent without needing a championship to validate itself.

Dallas, Pittsburg, and San Francisco all have 5 superbowl wins as far as franchises go. If it is a single team you speak of its got to be the 72 Dolphins the only undefeated team in league history.
