I have built houses on my own and done some prodject managing for a larger company. The cheapest you could hope for in rural New England would be $250-$300 a sq. ft. Obviously you could spend much more depending taste and location.

You could probably get specifics by calling a builder in your region of your state and having them give you a quick estimate or quote.

depends on what state your going to build it in. Chester country PA this would cost you about 350.000, Bloomington Illinois that house would cost you about 225.000.
